  I'm sorry, but there's no way I'm giving this place a higher score. I didn't even take photos. We stayed at The Lake of Shining Waters Resort. As part of our accommodations, breakfast was included. Regular breakfast was mediocre at best. Had French toast with strawberries which I thought would be fresh because they were in season. I was wrong. No doubt they were frozen strawberries from Sysco. Gross and not cool. I don't think any of the food serves here was local.

  Less then average food. Lobster Crossiant was on a very very small crossiant with no chunks of lobster, just minced lobster. The potato salad with it was beyond creamy and not appetizing, couldn't finish it. The kids pizza pockets were actual store bought frozen pizza pockets. I know it's a kids dish but for a restaurant that describes itself as Italian, that's disappointing. The fact that this restaurant is on the culinary trail makes me question the trail's credibility. I would not recommend to friends.

  Visited August 2 & 3, lunch and breakfast. Best food by far on the Cavendish strip. Would definately make that my choice when returning :)

  I'm not very happy after that visit. We've been waiting 20min to be seated, then amother 30 to get anything. 3 waitresses couldn't serve maybe 40 people. Food... nothing special, taste and looks below average. If you not desperate I'm not recomending that one, but thst is my opinion,

  We went to the Sunday breakfast buffet. They accommodated our group of 11. Only the buffet was available, it was good and simple. Pancakes, scrambled eggs, juice, fried potatoes, sausage and bacon. Don't expect individual omlettes made to order. I thought the price was very reasonable at $8.95.
